April-September 2014 Scheduling optimization of portfolio projects in R&D – Michelin The challenge of this internship was to integrate operational reserach to the field of Supply Chain in Research, Development and Industrialization (RDI), within the Michelin Group. The objective was to provide several algorithms answering a number of scheduling problems, the main one being the optimization of a portfolio of project with resource constraints and limited time. This issue contains two scheduling problems on which we focused.
